Hello, I’m Ludgero (looj:aero), a photography lover, wine aficionado and overambitious home chef.

I’m a Portuguese-born Australian wedding photographer, calling the south of France home, where I live amidst the picturesque vineyards with my French wife, 6 year old son, and a French Bulldog called Marcel.

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, drawn to the timeless works of the original masters like Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Klein, and Ansel Adams. Their ability to capture the raw emotion and beauty of a moment, while expertly playing with lighting and composition, deeply shaped my understanding and love of the craft.

This appreciation for the art of storytelling through light and shadow naturally translates into my love for wedding photography.

I love crafting moments by gently guiding couples and their guests while allowing space for real, unfiltered emotions. When you forget about the camera and simply live in the moment, that’s when the magic happens. The energy, the stillness, the undeniable truth that you’re madly in love—that’s what I strive to capture.
